Privacy

This policy explains what Vireo Studio Ltd (“Vireo”, “we”, “us”) collects, why we collect it, and the controls you have over your data. We’re a small studio at 4 Harbor Lane, Brightwater BW1 2QA, and we treat your data the way we’d want ours treated.

The short version

We collect only what’s needed to run the product, we hash personal data at the edge by default, we never sell data, and we never use customer data to train models or power anything other than your workspace.

What we collect

• Account information. Name, email address, and billing details, used to run your account and send service communications.
• Product data. The events you send us through the SDK or API. This is your data — we process it to provide the service and nothing else.
• Usage data. Basic, aggregated diagnostics about how the Vireo app itself is used, such as feature adoption and error rates. This never includes your customers’ data.

How we handle personal data

Events are processed with hashing at the edge by default: identifiers such as email addresses are hashed before they leave the client. Raw personal values are only collected when you explicitly opt in for a specific purpose.

Region and retention

You choose the data region for your workspace (EU or US), and your events stay in that region. Retention windows are configurable per event type, and we honor deletion requests promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can exercise most of these from the dashboard directly; for anything else, email privacy@vireo.dev and we’ll respond within one business day.

Cookies and tracking

The marketing site uses no advertising cookies. The app uses a small session cookie to keep you signed in. If you email us or submit a form, we keep that correspondence for as long as it’s relevant.

Third parties

We use a small number of subprocessors (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) to run the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement, and none of them may use your data for their own purposes.

Changes

We’ll post any changes to this policy here and, for material changes, email you before they take effect.
